Our Impact
Ànúrà is committed to creating meaningful opportunities that encourage girls to explore creativity, technology, and innovation.
Founded in 2023
August 2024 STEM Hackathon
18 girls participated in our first major outreach event, a one-day STEM hackathon held in Lagos. Girls collaborated in teams to develop technological solutions to real-world problems. Winning team "Team Ruby" received ₦50,000 prize for their innovative project. All participants received Certificates of Participation and valuable STEM exposure.
2025 Virtual Summer Program
We expanded our reach through a two-week virtual learning experience where girls explored digital design, animation, and STEM fundamentals. Sessions ran three times weekly through interactive workshops and collaborative projects. Guest speaker shared insights on STEM careers and personal growth to inspire participants.
Resource Library
We've built a comprehensive library of beginner-friendly guides and resources across 5 STEAM tracks (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics). These self-paced learning materials make STEM accessible to girls regardless of their location or background.
